Stanford University- School of Medicine:

The goal of Stanford University Program in Human gene therapy is to “develop gene transfer technologies and use them for hepatic gene therapy for the treatment of genetic and acquired diseases” (citation 1.15).Their approach is to create new vector systems and delivery methods. National Human Genome Research Institute:

Located in Bethesda, Maryland, the National Human Genome Research Institute (NGHRI) is a division of the National Institutes of Health. This institute was first called the National Center for Human Genome Research (NCHGR) and it was established in 1989 in order to execute the role of the National Institutes of Health in the International Human Genome Project. In the year of 1997, United States Department of Health and Human Services renamed NCHGR to be now known as the National Human Genome Research Institute.
